All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments, which is fully PCI DSS compliant. Your card details are never stored on our servers.

Pricing & Currency

All prices displayed on DefineDesk are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP £). Where applicable, VAT is included in the displayed price. The price you see is the price you pay — no hidden fees at checkout.

When Will I Be Charged?

Payment is authorised and charged at the time your order is placed. You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after your payment has been successfully processed.

In the unlikely event that a payment fails, your order will not be fulfilled and no charge will be applied. You will be notified by email and invited to retry with an alternative payment method.

Payment Security

DefineDesk uses industry-standard SSL encryption (HTTPS) across the entire website. All transactions are processed through Shopify Payments, a Level 1 PCI DSS certified payment provider. We do not store or have access to your full card details at any point during or after your purchase.

VAT & Tax

Where applicable, taxes are included in the final price shown at checkout in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Promotions & Discount Codes

If you have a valid discount code, it must be applied at checkout before completing your order. Discount codes cannot be applied retroactively to completed orders.

Only one discount code may be used per order unless otherwise stated.

Billing Information

Please ensure that the billing address you provide matches the address registered with your payment provider. Incorrect billing information may result in payment delays or order cancellation.

Fraud Prevention

To protect our customers and ensure secure transactions, DefineDesk reserves the right to request additional verification for certain orders. In cases of suspected fraud, orders may be placed on hold or cancelled, and a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or payment provider.
